Definitely my least favorite of the Triathlon event, the swim will be my greatest mindset barrier to overcome. This page will show you some of the training I did to prepare for a 2.4 mile, open water swim and the struggles I endured along the way!
Swim - Day #1 (Friday, October 20, 2017)
What better way to get started preparing than to tackle the event that scares me the most - swimming. Don't get me wrong, I'm a decent swimmer. What I've quickly learned though is that swimming is a different aerobic workout all together. I mean come on, who knew you could actually sweat while swimming? I managed to swim for about 30 minutes this morning, tackling 850 m I think. Not bad for the first morning on the water!
